That window gives a planner time to do the part that matters most: securing your top venue and vendor choices before someone else does. The best ceremony sites, photographers, and florists in Las Vegas book out a year ahead for Saturdays in spring and fall. Hire early and you’re choosing from the full field. Hire late and you’re choosing from what’s left.
It also spreads the work out. Budget, design, contracts, guest logistics, and the timeline all get their own weeks instead of being compressed into a scramble.
